INTRODUCTION
This marketing proposal is designed to help Sentosa Group Bhd to futher develop new business
opportunities specifically in promoting space rental for Sentosa Plaza and Sentosa Tower. This
proposal will help the sales and marketing department in achieving their key result areas.
The main focus of the proposal are aimed to create and impart brand awareness not only to
private sector thus includes the government market niche. It is a practical and down-to-earth
proposal that will give affects to Sentosa Plaza and Sentosa Tower revenue throughout year
2011.
OBJECTIVES
Promote a framework change in markets mind set so they will take the initiative and
channel their energies towards maximizing space utilization both at Sentosa Plaza and at
Sentosa Tower
To convert the Sentosa Tower to a newly improved and ideal spot as a prestige landmark
in the heart of Alor Star, Kedah
Rebranding of the Sentosa Plaza as a leisure spot whilst changing the Sentosa Tower
into a One-Stop-Prestige Centre not only for businesses but also for tourism mainly in Kedah
Detoxify bad corporate image and provide a new and better platform for organizational
growth and development

The methods used are fun, exciting and purposeful but serious in the subject matters. Because
this workshop is based on experiential learning, each participant will learn differently from his or

participants the desire to achieve greater heights.

1. Anas Zubedy
Anas Zubedy is the principal consultant for zubedy (m) sdn bhd. An honors graduate in
Economics from Universiti Malaya, he has been actively involved in projects organizing as well as
motivational, leadership and self-development training as early as his high school days. Upon
graduation in 1988, he joined Nestle until early 1994.
Anas Zubedy adalah teraju utama zubedy (m) sdn bhd. Berkelulusan Sarjana Muda Ekonomi
dari Universiti Malaya, beliau terlibat secara aktif di dalam mengendalikan projek antaranya
motivasi, kepimpinan dan kursus perkembangan diri semenjak di bangku sekolah lagi. Selepas
tamat pengajian pada tahun 1988, beliau telah berkhidmat di Nestle sehingga awal tahun 1994.
At Nestle he was exposed to sales, sales promotion and brand management. His sales
experience provided him with hands-on knowledge in working with large sales and customer
service team in a multinational, both in the day-to-day operations, as well as the organizing of
motivational training workshops, conventions, conferences and trips.

Pengalaman beliau dalam bidang penjualan telah melengkapkan beliau dengan kepakaran

He was also involved in the training and coordination of the Nescafe Service Unit and with the
Sales Promotion Executives for Grocery Two Business Units nationwide.
Beliau turut terlibat di dalam urusan latihan dan koordinasi Unit Perkhidmatan Nescafe dan
Eksekutif-eksekutif Promosi Jualan bagi Unit Perniagaan Peruncitan Kedua di seluruh negara.
As a Brand person, he was responsible for launching new products as well as creating new
markets for the coffee group, Nescafe and Coffee-mate. As such, Anas has extensive and indepth exposure in marketing research, advertising, branding and promotions spanning from the
conceptual stage to strategy and implementation. Moreover after Nestle, he spent 2 years writing
advertising copies and campaigns. Currently, zubedy is also actively building its own brand with
the purpose of becoming market leader in its category.
Beliau juga bertanggungjawab di dalam pelancaran produk-produk baru termasuklah
mewujudkan pasaran baru untuk jenama seperti Nescafe dan Coffee-mate. Pededahan yang
meluas dan mendalam yang beliau terima di bidang penyelidikan pemasaran, pengiklanan,
penjenamaan dan promosi bermula dengan peringkat konsep sehinggalah kepada startegi serta
perlaksanaan. Tambahan pula, selepas berkhidmat untuk Nestle, beliau menghabiskan masa
selama 2 tahun dalam penulisan berkaitan pengiklanan dan kempen. Kini, zubedy turut terlibat
secara aktif di dalam penjenamaan bertujuan untuk menjadi teraju pasaran di bidangnya yang
tersendiri.
After Nestle, Anas embarked on his own business in the areas of training and consulting. Since
then he has trained more than a thousand participants from top-level management right down to
clerks and dispatchers from many different industries. Among those who have attended his
training are technical and general management staffs, trainers and non-technical staff from IT
based companies, securities companies, financial institutions etc.

Selepas meninggalkan Nestle, Anas telah memulakan perniagaan sendiri yang mencakupi
bidang latihan dan perundingan. Sejak itu, beliau telah membimbing beribu-ribu peserta daripada
peringkat pengurusan tertinggi hinggalah ke peringkat perkeranian dan ke bawah yang berlainan
latarbelakang dan industri. Di antaranya termasuklah kakitangan pengurusan am dan teknikal,
pelatih dan kakitangan bukan teknikal dari syarikat-syarikat yang berasaskan IT, syarikat-syarikat
sekuriti, badan-badan kewangan, dan lain-lain lagi.
Outside work, he is also an active speaker at local universities and colleges. From 1993 till 1995,
he was an external fellow in one of the colleges of University Malaya.
Di luar pejabat, beliau adalah seorang penceramah yang aktif di universiti-universiti dan kolejkolej tempatan. Bermula tahun 1993 hingga 1995 beliau merupakan external fellow di salah
sebuah kolej kediaman di Universiti Malaya.
Currently Anas consults in the areas of change and marketing, helping organizations set
directions and change for the better as well as advice on marketing strategy. He acted as a
marketing and branding consultant to a local bank. He was also a Resident Consultant to a local
financial institution. As a facilitator and trainer, he consults and teaches soft skills especially in the
areas of change, marketing, presentation and self-improvement.
Anas kini menjadi perunding bagi bidang-bidang perubahan dan pemasaran; membantu
organisasi-organisasi menentukan hala tuju dan berubah ke arah yang lebih baik serta penasihat
strategi pemasaran. Beliau memangku jawatan sebagai perunding jenama dan pemasaran bagi
sebuah bank tempatan dan Perunding Tetap bagi sebuah badan kewangan tempatan. Sebagai
seorang fasilitator dan pelatih, beliau menasihat dan melatih kemahiran-kemahiran terutamanya
dalam bidang perubahan, pemasaran, pembentangan kertas kerja dan kursus perkembangan
diri.
2. Dhena Doraisamy
Dhena Doraisamy has more than 10 years of exposure in marketing, public relations and human
resource planning. She started her career with The Work Force Personnel Consultants where
she handled sourcing and managing manpower placements for international exhibitions. Later,
she moved into the Marketing world with ASTRO (Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd).
Dhena Doraisamy berpengalaman lebih daripada 10 tahun dalam bidang pemasaran,
perhubungan awam dan perancangan sumber manusia. Kerjaya beliau bermula dengan The
Work Force Personnel Consultants di mana beliau menguruskan sumber dan pengurusan
penempatan tenaga kerja bagi pameran-pameran antarabangsa. Beliau kemudiannya bertugas
dalam bidang pemasaran di ASTRO (Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd).
At ASTRO, she was exposed to the start-up of a broadcasting firm, which gave her insight into
the back-end workings of branding and implementation exercises. She was given several
opportunities to conceptualize, strategize and implement nationwide projects concentrating on
Subscriber Acquisition and Loyalty. Besides the major branding activities, she also was roped-in
to carry out many public relations activities that require careful planning and implementation.
Di ASTRO, beliau mendapat pendedahan berkenaan pembentukan firma penyiaran yang mana
telah memberikan beliau gambaran berkaitan tugas-tugas penjenamaan dan perlaksanaan.
Beliau telah diamanahkan dengan peluang-peluang mengilham, menyusun strategi, dan
melaksanakan projek-projek di seluruh negara dengan penumpuan terhadap Pemerolehan dan
Kesetiaan Pelanggan. Di samping aktiviti-aktiviti penjenamaan, beliau turut terlibat dengan

After ASTRO, her growing interest in human potential got her to venture into training. She aptly
got many opportunities to facilitate the learning process in the areas of customer service,
performance management and personal development. She also conceptualized and developed
various marketing orientated programs for her clients. Dhena also, rendered her expertise for
many community outreach programs for non-governmental organizations.
Minat beliau di dalam bidang potensi manusia membawa beliau ke arena ini. Beliau berpeluang
menguruskan proses pembelajaran dalam bidang khidmat pelanggan, pengurusan prestasi dan
perkembangan diri. Beliau turut merangka dan menghasilkan pelbagai program yang
berorientasikan pemasaran untuk pelanggan-pelanggannya. Dhena turut membekalkan
kemahirannya kepada pelbagai program bantuan kemasyarakatan untuk badan-badan bukan
kerajaan.
3. Sharon Ng
Sharon Ng has 18 years of corporate working experience in sales administration, marketing,
operations, training and development in the following industries: housing development and
properties, exhibition construction, English Language training and telecommunications.
Sharon Ng berpengalaman selama 18 tahun dalam bidang korporat iaitu dalam bidang
pentadbiran perniagaan, pemasaran, perkembangan dan latihan dalam industri-industri berikut:
hartanah dan perumahan, pameran pembinaan, latihan Bahasa Inggeris dan telekomunikasi.
From 1993 to 2000, she worked with Celcom (M) Sdn Bhd in Human Resource Development. Her
last appointment at Celcom was to manage Celcom Academy to ensure quality delivery of
technical and management training courses.
Dari tahun 1993 hingga tahun 2000, beliau berkhidmat di bahagian Perkembangan Sumber
Manusia di Celcom (M) Sdn Bhd. Jawatan terakhir beliau adalah mengurus Akademi Celcom
demi memastikan penyampaian berkualiti dalam kursus-kursus latihan pengurusan dan teknikal.
From late 1997 till 1999, Sharon was part of a project team involved in developing and refining
Celcom competencies for all staff members, from support staff to senior management level. She
is familiar with efforts to integrate the competency model with HR Tools of recruitment, curriculum
development, performance management and career management.
Bermula akhir tahun 1997 hingga tahun 1999, Sharon merupakan sebahagian daripada sebuah
kumpulan projek yang terlibat secara langsung dalam membangun seterusnya menghalusi

She is a sought-after facilitator / trainer for programs like Customer Service, Presentation Skills,
Problem Solving and Decision Making; and Leading and Participating in Meetings. She is a
certified CBTE (Competency Based Training & Education) Instructor and Course Designer and
Developer.
Beliau adalah fasilitator / pelatih bagi program-program Khidmat Pelanggan, Kebolehan
Pembentangan, Penyelesaian Masalah dan Membuat Keputusan; serta Mengetuai dan

Sharon has had the opportunity to attend various training events overseas and locally including
the ASTD Conference (1995), International HRD Conference in Penang (1997) ARTDO HRD
Conference in Bali (1999), National Achievers Congress, Process Consulting Skills (Interface
Management), You Were Born Rich (Bob Proctor), Leadership Transformation, and Integrative
Learning System.
Sharon telah menghadiri latihan-latihan di luar negara dan tempatan termasuklah Persidangan
ASTD (1995), Persidangan Antarabangsa Pembangunan Sumber Manusia di Pulau Pinang
(1997), Persidangan ARTDO HRD di Bali (1999), Kongres National Achievers, Kebolehankebolehan Rundingan Proses (Pengurusan Antara Muka), You Were Born Rich (Bob Proctor),
Transformasi Kepimpinan, dan Sistem Pembelajaran Integratif.
Sharon is an active member of two Toastmasters Clubs and has held executive positions in the
movement, including being President, Area Governor and Assistant Division Governor
(Marketing). A proficient speaker, Sharon has been successful in participating in public speaking

4. Satvinder Singh
Satvinder Singh is a qualified chartered accountant (ACCA). In the past eight years, Satvinder
has consulted on accounting, tax, and public listing issues for some of the nations largest
corporations. During his tenure at the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE), he reviewed the
listing documents before listing companies to the KLSE, Annual Reports, and Exposure Drafts of
accounting standards for the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) before it is
converted to Accounting Standard. It was also during his years at KLSE that Satvinder conducted
training sessions for staff of listed companies, both in the peninsular and East Malaysia with
regards to KLSE LINK - an electronic mode of communicating and disseminating of information or
announcements to KLSE and to the public.

As a keen sportsman, Satvinder was in the National Senior Hockey Training Squad and the
National Junior Hockey Squad in 1987-1992. He also assisted the Perak Hockey team to
championship the prestigious Razak Cup. He also won a National Award organized by Utusan
Malaysia, Sports Toto and Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN) known as Project Juara Muda and was
selected as Sportsman of the Year on several occasions during his schooling days.
Beliau juga menyediakan khidmat Perakaunan, Sumber Manusia, Perundingan Perniagaan dan
khidmat Nasihat kepada industri-industri kecil dan sederhana di mana beliau merupakan Rakan

experience in teaching English and creative writing to various levels ranging from preschoolers to
