Answer: Philip felt scared because Timothy was saying that Stew Cat was a Jumbi or the devil so he tried to take it away from the island by sending stew at on the raft, and into the ocean 2. Design what the cay would have looked like if Timothy and Philip hadnt arrived. Answer: It might have looked the same, but they might have cut down some trees down and had taken some bark off of them for there big fire. They might have also brought things with them from the raft onto the island. 3. Prove that Philip had become more independent. Answer: He is doing everything on his own, fishing, climbing trees to collect coconuts, and protecting each other, Philip is more independent because he can walk anywhere on the island now where he is.
