As we move toward through the unit on how we express ourselves, it is important to develop
your presentation skills as part of your comedy performance. Begin to plan and write the
different elements of your performance, thinking about the timing and different aspects that
makes a performance funny. MORE IMPORTANTLY, you need to PRACTICE your performance;
read your jokes to your family and try to get the timing correct. Ask for their feedback as to
how to make it better.
Continue to work on your humour journal. Each day, reflect on the things that made you
laugh; what did you find funny? Think about the things that make you laugh and find funny
(which is different to those things that make you happy and smile) and now start to
categorise them in the categories we discussed in class.

MATHS:
Start to revise your times tables, starting with the 3 and
4 times tables. Please remember to write the tables in
your homework books each day and that we will be
testing these times tables in the timestables challenge
each day. You should be able to recite the answer to a
timestables question as quickly as you can answer the
question Whats your name?
