Phas e 3

In 2003, the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSR C) granted Silverdale

official status as a regional growth center, that is, a dense and
diverse urban area with a regional focus. Concentrating on population
and employment growth, government, residential, recreational, and
cultural activity development, our plan will meet PSRC regulations
resulting in a vibrant, centralized, mixed -use activity area linked by
transit.

-2015/2016-

Phas e 2

Silverdale is centrally located in Kitsap County at the north end of

Dyes Inlet. Established in 1854, Silverdales historic economic base
included timber and agriculture. Economic development, including a
port district, expansion of the Bangor Sub Base in 1971, and the 1985
groundbreaking for the Kitsap Mall secured Silverdales reputation as
a regional center.
