What is
Kopper Top?

Where did it all


begin?

Kopper Top is a nonprofit


organization residing on a 33
acre farm in Liberty, NC,
home to over 80 different
animals from horses to
bunnies and everything in
between. We aim to provide
animal-related therapy
programs to improve
physical, psychological, and
cognitive developments of
those with and without
special needs. More
specifically, our mission
statement reads:

1997 certified as an IRS
nonprofit organization
1998 became Kopper Top Life
Learning Center
February 2005 opened in
new location in Liberty

The mission of Kopper Top Life


Learning Center is to provide
quality therapeutic services,
education and recreation therapy
to individuals with and without
disabilities through the use of
animals to empower and enhance
their quality of life.

Founder Deborah Meridith


began working with horse
therapy in 1981. She has since
dedicated her life to animalrelated therapy programs
