Gravity- Sara Bareilles

Something always brings me back to you said (songwriter/Artist) Sara Bareilles on her
song titled Gravity who at one point in her life experienced what many others have
encountered, Her first real HeartBreak! The pop singer Bareilles introduce this ballad as her
third single from the album Little Voice in 2007. The message within the song, the sincere cry to
be free and her compelling melodic approach to the song is truly extraordinary! Her voice carries
with compassion as she pours her heart out accompanying herself on piano.
Bareilles have been on the music scene since 2004 where she released her first album
Careful Confessions. Soon following her studio album it wasnt long before she was signed with
Epics Records in April. 15, 2005. Bareilles have changed the lives and hearts of many with her
dynamic voice and profound songwriting. She previously released her latest album: Whats Inside:
Songs From Waitress in 2015.
Her song entitled Gravity is simply about someone who keeps falling in love with
someone that they shouldn't fall in love with. She's not strong enough to withstand the magnetic
charm effect he has on her.

The message of the song is powerful! Her melodic concept definitely intertwines with the lyrics.
This song comes from her life experience which I personally believe are always the best because
its real and we can personally relate. She reminds me of Celion Dion. They both have a great
vocal presence thats sincere. I would personally rate Bareilles and her song a 10. Her following
will always be happy with her because they can relate and its real. Overall the song Gravity is
such a great song! Sara Bareilles is truly an awesome song writer. Who writes from the heart! Job
