Magic Square

Step 1: First select nine numbers. They can be consecutive numbers, consecutive odd
numbers, and consecutive even numbers etc.
The matrix chosen will be 3X3. This means that there will be 3 rows diagonally and 3
rows horizontally in the magic box.
The consecutive numbers that will be used are:
11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19
Step 2: Add all the numbers then divide the total amount by 3 because the matrix is by
3x3.
The sum of the set of numbers is 135. Then divide them by 3 and the magic
number is 45.

Step 3: Find 8 combinations by starting with the

highest number (19) adding to the lowest number (11)
which is equal to 30. Then subtract 45 minus 30 to get
the missing middle number. Then the next largest
number and the smallest number and so on until theirs
8 combinations.

Step 4: Once the 8 combinations are found make a chart to find out how many
times each number is being used.

Step 5: The number being used the most is 15

which that number will go in the middle of the
magic box.
Step 6: The number that was used 3 times
should be placed in the corners of the magic
box.
Step 7: Add the numbers in the first row and
then subtract that answer from 45 to get the
middle number.
Step 8: The sum of each row, column, and
diagonally have to equal to 45.
