INSTRUCTIONAL GAMES TECHNIQUE AND ACHIEVEMENT SCORES IN BIOLOGY AT

CABALANTIAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL SY 2013-2014

1.2. Statement of the problem


The major aim of this study is to effect and explore the instructional games technique in teaching and
learning Biology at CNHS, SY 2013-2014.
Specifically, this study has been formulated and seeks to suggest answers for the following
questions:
1. What are the achievement scores of students in Biology using instructional games technique?
2. What are the achievement scores of students in Biology using lecture method?
3. Is there a significant difference in the scores of students using instructional games technique
and lecture method in teaching Biology?
Ho1: There is no significant difference in the achievement scores of students using instructional games
technique and lecture method in teaching Biology.

1.3. Objectives of the study


1.3.1. General objective
This study deals on the influence of Instructional Games Technique and Achievement Scores in
Biology at CNHS, SY 2013-2014.

1.3.2. Specific Objectives


To determine the achievement scores of students in Biology using instructional games technique.
To determine the achievement scores of students in Biology using lecture method.
To find out whether a significant difference exists in the scores of students using instructional games
technique and lecture method in teaching Biology.
