POINT DISCUSSED
AFL

Mark introdeced Active for Life - bringing activities to


communities. Looking for ideas on what they could run. Ideas
like gym, pilates etc. Any ideas considered.
Activities will be as cheap as possible to allow all to take part,
and they will train up volunteers to take over running activities.
Proposed that we could build onto sports park building to
accommodate classes.

CVP

Steering group meeting at 157 on July 10. A rep required to


attend.

Comms

2 dates for attendance at school to be announced


FAQ's updated Newsletter being produced 157 is getting
more people popping in, possible evening openings in future.

Rent arrears Option to close off 3rd bedroom as storage may be possible for
those unable to move to smaller premises, due to being in
arrears.
A drop in session with housing to be arranged -appointment basis
Decants

The best of the empty houses will be decorated and carpeted


before any residents are moved into them.

Swift survey Underway. Fri June 24 10am, workshop at 157 for all interested.
Training

Healthy cooking on a budget, Heritage Crafts, upgrading


furniture, foraging .. all ideas being considered.

Newsletter

Still space for more items, due to be delivered on 7th July

Storage

Question was asked regarding storage for large items that are
gifted when moves take place. Smaller items can be held in 157.
Useful Items could be salvaged from vacants.

This will be assessed o individual basis.

Adult Education Centre can help with family events, and they
may be able to do this

Junction Arts keen to be involved with this.

Big Lunch now to be held August 21

Flooding

The meeting was informed that severe flooding was affecting


most of the houses on the top of the estate. Clr Mark Dixey and
Kim Wyatt will take this forward and press for an early
resolution
