The meeting was called to order by President Doug Koopman

The Pledge and Prayer was led by Laura Schneider
Program: Samuel Gomez (Rotary Inbound Student from Spain)

Announcements:
o Night at the Museum Tuesday March 6th 5-8 PM. We will not have a meeting
that morning. Let Brent know if you can work from 5-6:30 or 6:30-8 or both.
Brent will be picking up the cookies from Eileens and the club is picking up
the bill. Paul Harris awards will be handed out for Rotarians who are
present.
o Jeff Schneider requested that we meet at Alcott for our March 13 th meeting
to tour the remodeled school. Breakfast will be provided, enter from the
East side of the school.
o Gregg announced that an email has gone out regarding flag installers. If
you’re able to assist on your designated route that would be helpful.
o Nate announced that Job Shadow day will more than likely be held in April
and will provide more information as we get closer.
o Note from prior meeting. Motion was made and carried to award half off
dues for any member who brings in a new member this year.

Program: Samuel Gomez presented on his country of Spain. Samuel talked about his

town, his countries traditions and his interests. Samuel is going snowboarding for the first
time this weekend and is excited. He is currently residing with Bob and Julie Parker.

Next meeting: Tuesday March 6th 5-8 PM at Hastings Museum

President Doug Koopman rang the bell and adjourned the meeting.
