Program: Rotary International Conference by Dale Schultz

Announcements:

Tom Choquette brought up our clubs semi-annual billing statement and went over the
breakdown of what we are billed.

Scott Kummer informed the club its time for the Annual Big Red Blowout and he has
tickets for all members to sell. Each member will receive 10 tickets to sell. Scott reminded
the club that 50% of the proceeds from the sale of the tickets will go to the foundation as
a donation in the selling members name. 25% of the proceeds will come back to the
District and 25% will come back to our club. We are striving to be 100% participant club
again this year. Ticket sales are due by August 31st.

Discussion Topics:

Question of the Day: President Koopman started a new agenda item titled Question of
the Day. The winner will be able to have his precious antique trophy displayed on their
table for the remainder of the Rotary meeting.

Question: What substance can be used to clean up iron and lime build-up on the inside
of your dish washer.
Answer: Unsweetened Kool-Aid Lemonade Powder
Todays winner was Laura Schneider.

Program: Rotary International Conference by Dale Schultz

Dale spoke about his recent trip down to Atlanta for the Rotary International Conference.
Dale had a great experience listening to all of the speakers and meeting other Rotarians
and learning about their clubs projects. Dale also spoke about the stops he and Kathy
made along the way. He and Kathy had a wonderful experience.
