Don tried to facilitate a SKYPE call between Srivatsa Sheshadri in Kearney, his friends in
Bangalore India and their needs for Global Grant Partners.

Rotary International District 3190 is currently running a Rotary sponsored Dialysis Center
in Bangalore, India. The Nephrology Center currently has 14 state-of-the-art dialysis
machines which have provided more than 15,000 procedures in the past 22 months. The
facility is working at full-capacity; 16 hours a day and 6 days a week.

The cost to an Indian patient is less than $10 per dialysis treatment. They are currently
in need of one stand-by dialysis machine, a cleaning machine, and extension of the
maintenance warranty for the entire set of machines.

The Global Grant Proposal is looking for an International Partner Club to join with them
in this effort. They pointed out that a local high school Interactor has already collected
over $10,000 toward this project and has committed to continue seeking local funding for
this effort.
