Conclusion:

The results of this experiment were that the spearmint gum was the
most effective for remembering information. My hypothesis is that chewing
Spearmint-flavored gum will be the most effective with scoring high on an
assignment or test. My data did support my hypothesis because 4 out of 5
people remembered more than 10 items out of the 20 shown. Only 2 out of 5
people that chewed the Hubba Bubba gum could remember more than 10
items. 1 out of 5 Big Red gum chewers could only remember 10 or more
items. If the student wants better memory, Spearmint flavored gum would be
the best choice. The Spearmint gum tested better than any other gum tested
by a large margin. The only issue I had was needing more test subject than
originally planned. I also had to increase the number of trials so that there
was more validity in the experiment. Experimenting how long the effect of
the Spearmint gum lasts before, during, and after the test would be a logical
follow-up to this experiment to add more information.
