    The ACER AL1916W monitor would not turn on. After disassembling it, the technician found that the high voltage integrated board was not outputting 12V or 5V power. Measurement of other components showed normal voltages except for the DAP8A chip, which was outputting a significantly lower 50V instead of the expected 220V. Replacing a 1k resistor with two 5R5 resistors in parallel raised the voltage to 220V, but the DAP8A chip still did not have power on pin 6. Replacing the DAP8A chip and a few 20 ohm resistors allowed the 12V and 5V outputs to function normally, repairing the monitor.

    ACER AL1916W does not boot. Disassemble measuring power high voltage integrated board 12V 5V no output.
    After disconnecting the high pressure is also true. After investigation by the output of the two fast recovery diodes
    to normal, the switch is normal. Measured voltage level bridge pile normal, large capacitance 300V . Measuring
    power management chip DAP8A of 8 feet HV voltage of 50V , is significantly lower, and will DAP8A dismantle
    voltage remains the same, then run the circuit, I found this HV voltage is 220V by 1K ohm after dividing draw with
    diode rectifier, 1K minutes later resistive pressure of 50 multi- V , the 1K resistor put two parallel 5R5 resistance
    (for fear of excessive current resistance burn easily, with two resistors in parallel). Change the resistance after the
    HV get 220V voltage, but DAP8A of 6 feet VCC without power. Can not find this IC , DAP8A with 203D6 instead.
    6 pin VCC voltage 8V hopping around, then checked the feedback, MOS pipe S pole a few 20 ohm resistor to
    ground are infinite. Replace these few resistors, 6 feet VCC voltage not jump up. After the stage output 12V 5V
    normal. This board repair.
