Report From Tawau 2010 – Division K 15th Semi-Annual Convention

Rosslin Peter Rosen, ACB, CL
Organising Chairperson

Presented by Lee Chye Ewe DTM

Deputy Organsing Chairperson

For First Division K Council Meeting

On 18th July 2010
Sandakan, Sabah.

Introduction

Tawau Toastmasters Club has been approached far too many times to host the Division Convention ever
since the club was chartered. Being a small club with limited resources and at a place where the choice
of venue is limited, we have always po
politely declined.

However the same reason could not be used over the years. That’s why we have finally taken up the
challenge to host the 15th Semi-Annual
Annual Convention when Immediate Past President Rosslin Peter Rosen
was approached by Division Governor Dati
Datin Grace Chiu (Governor Elect then).

Knowing well of our limitations, Tawau Toastmasters Club members are taking up multiple roles and
duties to ensure the convention is planned, organized and presented successfully.

A committee was formed on 14th June 2

2010 as follows :-

Organising Chairperson Rosslin Peter Rosen, ACB, CL

Deputy Organising Chairperson Lee Chye Ewe, DTM
Secretary Elizabeth Goh, ATM-S, CL
Treasurer Datin Betty Hiew, CC
