    Affliction

    Release me by death
    this haunting is like a shadow
    I can taste it on my breath
    a mere memory, the body's way of striving for what has already killed me before
    and yet I still and will always want more
    the craving never ceases
    it creeps upon you like no other diseases
    tormenting your thoughts, manipulating your desires
    blinding you from reality as it pretends to set you free
    Release me by death, that's the only way out of this affliction
    from this disease called addiction
