Benefits of Hover Intent
• Visually simulates a click when the users
mouse hovers over an area
• Allows consumers to make selections
inside of ad units without having to click
• Takes fear out of interacting with an ad
• Increases time spent engaging with ad

How it Works
The technology calculates the pace at which the mouse is moving when the pointer enters into the selectable area in the ad unit. The two main criteria
for Hover Intent to take effect is when (1) the mouse hovers over the target for at least 0.2 seconds and (2) is moving at a speed of less than 10 pixels
per second.

Why We Do It
Many consumers are fearful of clicking on an ad, and as a result, many interactions are missed with normal banner ads. With Hover Intent, Spongecell
is able to capture those missed interactions. This technology is highly relevant for situations where advertisers are interested in consumers filling out
forms, taking quizzes, scrolling through products and ultimately driving deeper interaction within the ad unit.
