Values

Values are the rules by which we make decisions about right and wrong, should and shouldn't,
good and bad. They also tell us which are more or less important, which is useful when we have
to trade off meeting one value over another. Value denotes something's degree of importance, with
the aim of determining what action or life is best to do or live, or at least attempt to describe the value
of different actions. It may be described as treating actions themselves as abstract objects, putting value
to them.

Values are beliefs of a person or social group in which they have an emotional investment (either
for or against something); "he has very conservatives values"

value is a property of objects, including physical objects as well as abstract objects (e.g. actions),
representing their degree of importance.
