    On a sheet of loose leaf paper, write a heading that includes your full name, “Book Pass Assignment,”

    and the title/author of the book you selected.

    Answer the following questions about your book:

    1. Read only the front cover and answer the following question:
    Based on JUST THE TITLE AND COVER ART, what do you think this
    book is about. Write at least 3 complete sentences.

    2. Read the back of the book and the inside front cover, and answer
    the following question:
    How did the back cover and/or inside cover change my ideas of
    the book? Write at least 3 complete sentences. Did you learn
    anything new? If so, what?

    3. Read the first page.
