It’s once in a lifetime to meet Mr. Takashi Amano in Malaysia. Born in Niigata, Japan
in 1954, Takashi Amano founder of ADA-Aqua design Amano Co., Ltd in 1982 was
the pioneer of Nature Aquarium Style. Using his personal experience and research,
his “Nature Aquarium Goods” merge stylish design with quality products that made
growing plants dramatically easier. Products like “NA Lamp”- Lighting System, “Pollen
Glass”- CO2 supply equipment and “Aqua Soil” substrate combines the Beauty of
Nature and Ecosystem Management. His Aqua Journal magazine caught domestic
attention and finally the world. In 1992, his two books with “Glass no Naka no
Daishizen,” and “MIzu-Shizen eno Kaiki,” with stunning photographs shot from large
format cameras excited hobbyist all over the world. Amano today continues to inspire
and produce exciting work and is unselfish in sharing with hobbyists all over the world
his ideas and methods to create stunning planted tanks. His words resonate till today
– “One who cannot love her smallest creations, cannot claim to stand before Nature”.
