two types; Indoor games and outdoor games. Indoor games may include Caroms, Ches

ootball, Volley ball, Tennis etc. In this essay we shall discuss about importanc
e, advantages and disadvantages of practicing sports and games in our lives.
Depending upon the aptitude of the young child he or she may give relative prior
ity to spots and studies. Person who wants to become a research scholar, an engi
neer or a management expert, spends great amount of time to sports will be inapp
ropriate because one may not find time for studies and fail in the final examina
tions. Conversely an average student of Arts and commerce or literature can affo

Games and Sports are important not only from the view point of entertainment and
amusement of the young children but equally from the view point of their fitnes
