Some people think that schoolchildren should spend more time on sports

activities, such as class-to-class or school-to-school sports competitions.

Nowadays, there is no doubt that sports activities are one of the most
beneficial things for people’s health. They help people develop different skills,
become healthier and more energetic. Accordingly, people, especially
schoolchildren should spend more time on it to improve their physical and
mental abilities.

To begin with, different activities, such as, class-to class or school-to-


school sports competitions are the best opportunities for children to develop
physically and intellectually. For instance, when children compete and do
physical or mental exercises, they improve different abilities. They learn several
social skills, such as working in a team. Consequently, these children are fitter,
stronger, healthier and more sensible.

In addition, today it is a serious problem that schoolchildren are too


depended on computers and electronic entertainment. When they spend the
whole day playing games on their computers, they will develop many health
problems and it is bad for their brain too. In my opinion, it is more beneficial
for children to spend more time outdoors playing sports.

To sum up, I believe that schoolchildren should spend more on sports


activities. In this way, they become healthier, fitter and mentally developed.
