Sports have always been a part of education, but some people think that doing sports distracts from

more important academic work. However, we need to remember that sports are not just for fun, but
they also bring important benefits to students' development.

In my point of view, some physical activity in your teenage years is absolutely necessary. If you do
not do any physical activity, it may led to major health problems. For example obesity, cardiovascular
diseases, diabetes type 2 or depression. I think that sports at school are important for numerous
reasons. Sports provide students an opportunity to engage regular physical activity, which is crucial
for maintaining good health and preventing a range of health problems, which I have already
mentioned. Sports can also have a positive impact on students' mental health by reducing stress,
anxiety, and depression. Participating in team sports allows students to develop essential social skills,
such as communication and teamwork. Sports can help students develop essential character traits
such as discipline, perseverance and sportsmanship.

What I propose is that we should have more physical education lessons at school. Even if it would be
just by one hour per week more, it would be helpful. In the other hand, many students have
tendency to hate and skip physical education. That is due to boring lessons filling. Therefore, in my
point of view, we can increase quantity of lessons, but it is meaningless if we do not have better
syllabuses.

If we want have better life, we should do something for it. I believe, that having a few more physical
lessons is the least we can do for it.
