I. Course Description : An introductory course designed


to help students understand and appreciate the rudiments of the
Greek language. Acquisition of a basic vocabulary is stressed.
Special attention is given to grammar composition, writing
exercises, and drill in reading.
II. Course Objectives : At the end of the course the
student will be able to:
1. Learn the rudiments of the Greek language.
2. Memorize the Greek alphabet and some of the basic
Greek lexicons.
3. Acquaint himself to grammar composition, writing and
reading exercises.
III. Course Requirements :
1. Attend classes regularly and punctually.
2. Submit assignments on time.
3. Take quizzes and examinations.
