Exercise has been proven to help relax your body and
mind. It also helps you let out aggression.
Another form of exercise?
Yoga!
Yoga can also help control your breathing and
improve your posture.
Playing Sports!

Sport help you take your


mind off things. Playing
sports with your friends
will also make this stress
reliever more enjoyable.

help you become
more positive.
How does exercise help reduce stress?

It helps calm yourself.


It can improve posture.

Remember that there are
many different kinds of
exercises you can do, so
don’t limit yourself!
Eating Healthy!
Choosing the proper foods for your
body, will keep you energized
throughout the day.

Eating healthy means


choosing the right things
to eat for your body.
Drinking Water.
Drinking water can help cleanse your body.

Doctors suggest that


you should drink at
least 8 cups of water
per day.
Healthy food and junk food.
Junk food, such as pizzas, burgers, candy and soda will make you feel tired and
stressed. Where as to eating healthy foods like whole grains, cheese, meats,
nuts, fruits and vegetables give you more energy because your diet is more
balanced.

stress?

Eating healthy will make you


more energized and alert.

It helps you stay active!

There are many different kinds of


healthy foods out there, so just
because you don’t like one, don’t
turn down another!
Alone time!
Giving yourself alone
time when you are
dealing with stress, can
help you focus yourself.

Alone time means making a


little time during the day
for yourself, and do
something that you like to
do.
Some things to do.

-Listen to music

-Read a book

-Play a game

-Do some arts and crafts

-Hang out with friends

-Write down your thoughts

-Take a walk

-Get a massage
How long should you do it for?
Time doesn’t matter here!
Anytime you got it what you can get.
It can be 10 minutes or 2 hours. As long as you feel
more focused and ready to go after!
Other activities.

-Watch T.V
-Play sports
-Take a nap
-Eat a healthy snack
-Draw/ paint a picture
-Talk to someone about your problems
-Drink water
-Take a bath or shower
-Do yoga
Get Sleep.
Getting a goodnight
sleep when you are
stressed will make you
feel replenished and
energized for the next
day.
How much sleep should you get?
On average people should get at least 8.0-8.5 hours
of sleep per day. In reports, it has shown that
people who have between 8.0-8.5 hours of sleep
per night, live longer than those who get more or
less.
What happens when you don’t get enough sleep?

You become,

-cranky

-tired

-lazy

-negative

-forgetful

-moody

-unfocused
Why is sleep good for you?

-Sleep ultimately helps you become a


more positive and energized.

-It keeps your heart healthy.

-It can improve your memory.

-It helps you stay alert.


Stress affects everyone by making them feel
under pressure, it takes a hold of us. If we
figure out ways to reduce it, it will make our
lives so much easier and enjoyable.
