Math Syllabus
7th Grade – Mrs. Meg Schlukebier
Materials
• Pencils • Compass
• Pen for correcting • Protractor
• 4-function calculator • Graph paper
• Book cover for text book • Folder OR 3-ring binder
• Ruler

Homework – 10% of overall grade

• Daily assignments
• If turned in late, worth ½ credit
• Must be turned in by chapter test
• Turned in after chapter test = no credit
• Nameless assignments turned in, once found or redone (before chapter test), are
considered late
• Assignments done in pen must be redone in pencil and are considered late
• Work MUST be shown to receive full credit for an assignment

Quizzes – 30% of overall grade

• May use notes, calculator, and text book
• Quizzes must stay in the classroom

Tests – 60% of overall grade

• May only use notes and calculator
• Tests must stay in the classroom

Retakes (ONLY tests may be retaken)

• ALL homework must be completed and turned in by the original test day in order to
retake that test
• May retake each test ONCE
• All retakes for a quarter must be done by the last day of each quarter
• Students are expected to do extra work from the text book before retaking a test
• Retakes are only given on Thursdays after school

A 93% B- 80% D+ 67%
A- 90% C+ 77% D 63%
B+ 87% C 73% D- 60%
B 83% C- 70% F below 60%

Absences
• Check Edline for assignments missed (in the “Assignments” folder)
• Check Edline for class notes (in the “Class Notes” folder)

Help Nights
• Tuesdays & Thursdays after school
• 2:45 – 4:15 PM in Mrs. Schlukebier’s room (249)
• Must sign up for 45 minute time slot with Mrs. Schlukebier (13 students per 45 minutes)
