DESTINY OR FATE?

Do you believe in destiny or fate? Are we in control of our own decision?

Do we know what lies ahead of us? Do we have a choice of what life could bring
us?

I grew up without my parents besides me; they decide to work in other

places to prepare me for better future. Though they are far away from me, I was
loved by them, and I could feel it. Christmas and New Years Day come and go, but
with their constant call, I feel we are together.

Here comes “College Life”. I was full of dreams, plans and ambitions in life.
At first, I was doing pretty good, with their undying advice and love I have set a
goal for myself. But temptations in this big city struck me. Yes I fell in love and so
at a very early age, I was carrying my baby boy! Am I to be blamed? Are my
parents to be blamed? I don’t know… they say I was destined to be a young
mother. My baby came out of into this world full of misery. With their
unconditional love, my parents let me continue my studies, not only for me but
for my baby’s future. Sometimes I ask myself, am I really destined to be what I am
now, If only I have resisted temptation, if only I took their advice, if only… so
many if’s . But this time, I have to be in control of my destiny for the sake of my
child. With him around I know whatever trials and hardships in life, I can
overcome them all, it is not easy I know, but I have faith in God that He will
always be my side.
