CAUSATIVE FOR HAVE/HAD


Pattern: Subject + have/had + someone + Verb I
Example:

- I have him clean my shoes

- Mary has George climbs the tree

Causative “Make/made
Pattern:
Subject + Make + someone + verb I
Example:
-The teacher always makes the students stay in their own
seats

CAUSATIVE GET/GOT
Pattern:
Aktiv :
Subject + get + Object (aktiv) + to inf. + Object (pasif)
Pasif:
Subject + have/get + Object (pasif) + V3
Example:
“I got my brother to study math”(aktiv)
“I get my brother to repair my bike”(aktiv)
“I got math studied by my brother”(pasif)
