Barbie dolls: The debate if their products 

good or bad   influences   on young girls.

 Our topic is The Debate over Barbie dolls. To be truthful we picked this topic because we
want to show the world how Barbie dolls are not good influences on kids. We were thinking that
so many kids ask their mothers for Barbie dolls, and their outfits. They are undressing and
dressing up a doll that is supposed to be a woman. We thought that was a bit perverted. We
wanted to basically do a whole NHD project that was a big “Bashing on Barbie”. We knew that
Barbies are extremely popular so research would be easy. We also know that Last year’s Barbie
project was really good so we decided that we should do the same topic.

We conducted our research by thinking of something and then researching it. It was hard
to find things. We would have to ovoid the first 6 things because they were from Wikipedia, and
we knew we were supposed to ovoid that. We tried to find Primary Sources but we could not
find anything. We would go to a website that people right their own answers (answers.com and
yahoo answers and what not) and we would type in questions then further our research in that
topic. We would type in random questions into the search bar. For an example instead of putting
“Most Controversial Barbie Doll” we would type in “What is the Most Controversial Barbie
Doll”

We decided to make a website because we thought the idea was really cool. We went to
Weebly and did all the steps. We decided to make a page for everything.
