    The 6th edition of Hercules MTB Himachal 2010 will be flagged off on the 23 rd October from
    Shimla.  This year’s race will cover approximately 550 kms passing through Narkanda, Tani
    Jubar, Rampur, Sarahan, Nirmand, Baghipul, Sainj etc.

    More than 70 riders have already confirmed their participation in the current edition of the race.
    Teams representing army, air force and adventure wings of paramilitary forces will also be part
    of the contingent of riders participating in the race.

    This year 7 riders from Himachal have confirmed their participation in this arduous challenge.
    This being the highest participation of Himachalis ever since the challenge started in 2005. The
    increase in participation speaks of the increasing popularity of this sport in the mountain state.

    Hercules MTB Himachal is one of its own kind of an event in the country trying to promote eco-
    friendly adventure sport. It is billed as one of the toughest MTB races across the world. This
    year’s event is being promoted in association with TI cycles &  Himachal Tourism through the
    Incredible India campaign.
