Would you like to have a front or backyard garden to grow your own healthy, organic
food?

You may be eligible for a free home garden build by our team of urban gardeners!

Ubuntu Green Mission Statement - Ubuntu Green, is a

501(c)3 nonprofit organization, committed to promoting healthy,
sustainable and equitable communities through advocacy,
education, and community empowerment.

Home Garden Project - Supported by the California

Endowment Ubuntu Green is completing
60 home garden box installations between October 2010 and
September 2012 in the Sacramento Building Healthy Communities
project area. The project will provide support for the maintenance
of 60 home and community gardens throughout the 12 South
Sacramento neighborhoods and provide education to households
about health aspects of locally grown foods. This project will be
executed in partnership with the Ubuntu Green, Soil Born Frams,
the Green Youth Leadership Team, the Sacramento Yard Farmer
and the Sacramento League of Urban Gardeners. For more
