REFLECTION PAPER
The social problems that confront the country are caused by the people
themselves. The individual’s desire to gain more power, wealth and authority
has lead them to do unpleasant things.

As what I’ve seen on the caricature, the “mini-people” represents the

roots of the social problems that continue to rise. It started as a simple
thing yet it creates a big and detrimental effect. I think that the man in the
caricature represents the government body. No matter how hard it tries to stop
the emerging and rampant social problems that confronts the Philippines
nowadays, they will eventually come out and affect us. The little replicas are
also increasing in number thus the whole country should work hand in hand to
put an end to the social problems that makes Filipinos’ lives harder.

Social problems as the name implies are problems of the society, what
makes up the society is the people therefore these people (us) are our hope.
We can only solve the issues facing our country if we will start within our
own. Let us try to take a look on how we do and make things. Are we really
doing something to help or are we just contented with what’s happening and
don’t care at all. I know that there is no easy way out of these grave
situations but the answer relies in each and everyone of us.
