" An Essay on the Ethical Challenges Faced by the Youth in the Midst of
Globalization "

There are so many problems that occur nor happening not just in our country but the
whole world itself in today’s generation. Ever since, the Philippines are already suffering
in poverty compared to other countries, there are multiple killings or people being killed
because of our injustice system, when it comes to environmental problems we’re also
aware that we are also prone in disasters caused by the natural calamities, but today is
a different one. We are getting more in debt with other country because of this pandemic
where we need more funds to help our constituents.

I guess the main problem here in our current situation is our incompetent system,
because there is no concrete plan that is being released by our government. It’s like we
are just making an experiment out of everything. After a single step we will wait if this will
work then after that if it does not, a new step will be released which I think is not helping.
Our country has funds where it can help a large number of Filipinos but are being wasted
with non-sense stuff. Then there are also those times where the government should focus
more on resolving this pandemic but then, they are focusing on other issues.

Another problem is our population which is getting bigger today because we are
stuck in our houses with our partners and such. Aside from this, teenage pregnancy
numbers are also blowing up. And I think that is because of lack of awareness when it
comes to sex education.

I guess the dangers that can produce by this ongoing difficulties are a more difficult
level of poverty. Because our population gets bigger, and the knowledge being input in
students are not as a much as they get when there is face to face classes. The teachings
when it comes to sex education are still not being propagated. Therefore, when this kids
will hit the age where curiosity will strike them and they just decide out of their
impulsiveness expect that teen age pregnancy will still increase. That is why learnings
from this kind of stuff is a must.

The measures that can help in controlling this problem is the education. I guess
we cannot control all people and just use the word of God to stop them from doing this
thing. That is why we should educate them for them to be able to avoid having bigger
responsibilities at their younger age just because of irresponsibleness. I can help them
by educating them what I know, because I am the type of youth that I always think of the
consequences of my actions. And I don’t enter a situation that I am not yet ready.
