Moral Legacies of Rizal in My Life

Dr. Jose Rizal was then a licensed doctor who has different types of activities in
life it includes being a journalist, creative writer, artist, painter, an activist, a poet and a
very knowledgeable man who knows 23 languages. While watching the video, the first
thing that i have noticed in Dr. Jose Rizal's life is his simple life. And i think it’s an influence
coming from his parents. And if you will have noticed, Rizal also shown the importance of
parent's taking part in their children's morals. Because throughout his whole life, he just
lives a simple life.

Another one that I love with Rizal is his moral when it comes to education. I have
learned the importance of education as a step towards achieving prosperity for myself
and my country. Education was often seen by Rizal as medicine or something that could
fix the problems of the Colonial Philippines. He believed in an education free from
religious and political influence. He asserted that if there is no sufficient education, a
liberal one open to Filipinos, change cannot be accomplished.

I also admire him when it comes to his human rights. He is just a simple man with
a simple living way back then but then he made a way to speak and cry for the
independence of his own country and fellowmen. I admire him for not being scared and
standing for his morals. He was not frightened by the strong power of the Spaniards. This
may be a powerful passion and determination to set free a country that deserves
independence.

He also taught us to have our own morals in life. He showed us how to fight and
believe in our morals. Being different is not a sin, but sometimes you’re just to educated
that is why your decisions are different from others. You should believe first in your morals
so that others would believe in you. Ethics and moral is really important in our lives, we
may not be aware but those two things are always there in our daily lives. We should
exercise it to become a better individual, a person with a purpose.
