THE GRAND BHAGWATI

GROOMING STANDARDS
Grooming means dressing well, to be presentable to others.
You may want to give a little more attention to how you dress
at work because what you wear may be substantially
influencing your career path. Although nothing takes the place
of talent, hard work, innate ability and ambition, looking your
professional best in the workplace can give you a competitive
advantage.
It simply means dressing in a way that projects an image of the
sophisticated, successful working individual you are or would
like to become.

wearing multiple rings and earrings.
A formal wrist watch must be a part of your attire
to give a professional look.
THE RIGHT ACCESSORIES

hanging earrings

GROOMING
How a quick-check in the mirror can show you off to your advantage
There is a saying, “Elephants don’t bite. Mosquitoes do” often the
small things cause the biggest problems. When we have threads
hanging off a well-tailored suit, or buttons missing from a shirt, we
take away from our professional image.
Here is a “Grooming Checklist” to use before leaving the house or
during the day:
* Hair is clean, well styled, no dandruff
* Teeth are clean; no food stuck from lunch, breath is fresh
* Fingernails are clean, shaped, no chipped polish
* No runs in stockings
* No inner wear or slips showing
* Makeup is well designed and applied
* No shaving cream left on face, no 5 o’clock shadow
* Shoes are polished, not worn down at the heel
Tip Grooming repairs should be done in private, not in public. If
you have to file a broken nail or pick spinach from your teeth, go to
the nearest restroom
REMEMBER
To be well groomed is not a matter of
chance, it is a matter of choice, it is not
a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to
be achieved.

Grooming is not only about looking

good, it is about loving yourself and
shaping your personality……..
