Measurement Thing or object Why?

Train Station We use time in a train station when we look at which train we
are going to go on so we could know if we are late or early for
the train. We use a clock to tell the time.

Cooking When we are cooking we use the weight scale to measure how
much we have to put a particular ingredient in the mix.

Mass

Elevator We use capacity in an elevator so we know if there are too


much people in it or not. There is a sign that says how much kg
it could hold.

Water Tank We use volume to measure how much water we have left in a
water tank so we know when to get more water or to use
water more wisely. We check the water clock to see how much
water we have left.

Houses /buildings We use length to measure the length of houses/buildings


which could also be used to measure the area by measuring
the length and width and multiply them. We use a tape
measure to measure houses.
