    PROCEDURE FOR GOVERNING BODY TRAINING PLAN

    Members of the Governing Body (Board of Directors and Parent Policy Council) will be
    provided educational and training opportunities to increase their knowledge and skills in
    fulfilling their role

    The training plan for each Governing Body is developed utilizing Board/Policy Council
    input, performance standards, training opportunities sponsored by Funders, and
    individual Board/Program needs.

    The training plan is developed annually in June and each member is given a copy of their
    training plan.
