Title ideas that we have come up with for our two minute opening sequence are:

 Unexpected murders
 Thriller Instinct
 Double Motive
 The turning
 Stanley

There are many different ways in which directors/producers open their movies with;
for example:

Shaun of the dead .. Horror & Comedy

                     Production company logo shown at start 

                     Sound playing against black background
                     After a minute or so, the titles come in with their specific title track to match with their genre.
                     It looks like its a beginning of a music video
                     Name of movie is written across the floor with human, zombie like walk towards it to show
the transition.

Se7en .. Crime Drama & Mystery 

                     Actors names are in hand written format 
                     Names are shown on a black screen with background sound which adds to the suspense 
                     The background music with images give the film a mystery start
Juno .. Comedy Drama 

                     Animated main character and environment around her.

                     Titles are drawn.
                     Names of actors are placed next to objects that resemble them in the movie
Something's gotta give .. Comedy & Romance

                     The titles of actors are in CAPITAL so that they are noticeable

                     Sets up the mood with music and women as they walk in slow pace. 
                     It seems as if the women are the main characters in the film but they actually don't have any
involvement but it just engages the viewers to carry on watching
                     There is a contrast between male and female actors as the male actors name is shown on
the right and the female on the left, this shows binary opposition.
