Audience Feedback
Our advanced portfolio in which we made a music
video and a digi pack we relied on audience feedback
because this gave us direction. We needed the
direction because we needed the music video and
album cover to suit the consumers needs.
Our feedback was gained mostly from Web 2.0
through Twitter pages, Facebook pages and YouTube
pages.
We also used traditional methods such as
questionnaires and sample surveys.
Traditional Methods
We used questionnaires and sample sessions so we could find out
what the audience think about the music video and digi pack.

In our questionnaires we were informed about what the audience

think we asked both open and closed questions so we could find
out specifics and we could also be informed about what we didn’t
know.

In the sampling session we showed the audience our advanced

portfolio. The feedback we gained was positive about the music
video but they gave constructive criticism about the ancillary task
they did not like the background image before but this was then
later on changed to suit the audience.
Social Networking Sites
We used Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to
promote our products. We choose to use
social networking sites because they’re are
millions of views on these sites and it would
be easily viewed and we would be able to get
feedback quicker and easier.
Twitter
To promote our products we created a twitter account for
Pistol Whipped Productionz.
It has been noticed that the twitter scene is becoming
very popular with artists, producers and record
companies.
We thought it would be good for our production
company to be on there to see feedback we receive and
also we would be able to see what real artists, producers
and record companies of our genre were doing and even,
if we could incorporate this in to our advanced portfolio.

YouTube
We had also created a YouTube account for
our products we have created.
By using YouTube we were able to see what
people thought about our video and what we
could need to change.
The feedback we received was very positive
and the audience was amazed about how
professional the video looks.

Facebook
We have made a Facebook group which consists of our
music video and ancillary task. We have had 56 people
join the group and people have gave their feedback on
our advance portfolio.
We have received positive comments about the video
and how people like the digi pack.

from the audience and how we have made changes to

What We Have Gained
We received a lot of positive feedback and some
constructive criticism about the our advance portfolio
mostly through the social networking sites and this has
helped us as we have been able to edit and make a few
adjustments to suit the consumers needs.
Some viewers criticised the video and said it seems more
like a movie than a music video. Some people liked the fact
the music video was like that.
Me and my partner planned to make the music video seem
more like a movie because it gave an insight into what
happens in some rough neighbourhoods.
