DRUM CORPS EXECUTIVE MEETING April 18TH 2011

MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES Calgary parade: Letter of invitation for 2012. Marlow moved to accept the minutes as read PRESIDENTS REPORT: Pasta Night was well attended. May 7th Lobster night Friday 29th April > cooking assignment.

VICE PRESIDENT REPORT: no report LIEUTENANT: Sent by email, redistributed by email. SECRETARY: no report TREASURER: Marching Director: Band camp, may 13 and 14th. Friday start at 7:30, Saturday at 8am to 4pm. Lunch with the gourmet club. Band camp will be strictly music. May 9th practice at 7pm Music Director: not here Safari Committee: Bus booked for Medicine Hat. Bingo: next bingo May 19th Quartermaster: All the new uniforms have arrived. Sargent: Bar/Onions: Onions, 3310 pounds sold until now. Onions to be delivered 1st week of May. Trying to change that to the 2nd week of May. Divan: Membership

Good and Welfare: NEW BUSINESS: Parade schedule 2011: Distributed by Don McDougal. Mid West Winnipeg: August 4th to 6th . Dick moves we go to MW as a unit. Brad seconded it. Lobster Nite: Liquor prices will be the same Lobster price for members will be $10 Its going to be a sold-out. MSA: Cost to the unit is 8000 dollars. Tom put a motion of paying $125 per person. Everyone in favor. Branches: Poker Night: $250 to register, we can sell 50-100 tickets at $60 each. Motion by Al to find a date for a poker night. If we dont sell the 50 tickets we pay $250 to the casino. Next meeting: July 18th :00pm and possible practice afterwards. Meeting was closed at 9:20pm.
