Lieutenants Report to the Quarterly Meeting WA WA Drum Corps August 08, 2011

Ill. Sirs and Nobles: We have just come through another busy but rewarding summer parade/demonstration schedule but we still have one parade remaining on September 5th. As we get closer to the date I will send out directions as they are received. This year has been a challenge with the new music, routine and attendance. I believe we can all be proud of our teams efforts based upon the comments that we

have received. Our unit can take pride in the fact that we continue to represent the Shrine throughout Saskatchewan to the public and to other WA WA nobles. Our latest journey to Winnipeg for the 2011 MSA was no exception. I know that the Imperial Officers that were present, to a man, sought us out to complement the corps on a first class display. Illustrious Sir Ken McDougall and Noble Wayne Flaten are to be thanked for their efforts in shaping this years show. I believe that the ladies are grateful that they have more than enough material to make a spectacular Here Comes The Judge party this winter. We already have an invitation for 2012 to return to Medicine Hat on July 25th and 26th. We may want to consider staying two nights otherwise it is a quick one day trip. A big thank you must go out to everyone for making sure that we do not starve or become dehydrated on the bus trips. Respectfully submitted, Don McDougall Ill. Sir Don McDougall
