DRUM CORPS ANNUAL REPORT 2010/11 Well it was another busy year for the Drum Corps.

We just completed our semi annual pasta night on Friday March 25 with about 110 people eating. Next event will be our annual LOBSTER NIGHT on Sat .May 7. Tickets are in short supply so if you are interested in attending contact a member of the Drum Corps. Parade schedule Our parade schedule this year consisted of. Toronto Imperial doing one parade & a show plus we drummed in the new Ill Sir George. Medicine Hat doing two parades and one show. Moose Jaw parade. Regina parade Participated in the Shrine day at the legislature doing our show. Participated in leading the Cancer Walk in support of our Lieutenant & Potentate Ill.Sir Don McDougall. Membership This year we had six(6) new Nobles join the Drum Corps while not loosing any members. We have one new member currently going through Lodge & will join in June. Uniforms We have had to purchase additional uniforms for the new members. Will be requesting approximately $3300 funding from RSC. 2010/11 NEW SHOW This year we will have a new marching show. Our Marching & Musical Directors are hard at work matching the music & marching. We will retain our present show as a back up just to be on the safe side. Practice has already started so those who say you cant teach an old dog new tricks may be in for a surprise. The Drum Corps is looking for another key board player & a couple horn players for the new show. If anyone knows someone that would be interested in joining & playing in the new show please let us know.

Parade schedule 2011 We are planning to increase the number of parades we will do this year as it is the 100th anniversary of the Shrine & a number of 100 year anniversaries of some of the surrounding towns. We are looking at: Moose Jaw Ceremonial June 11 Moose Jaw Exhibition June 16 Grand Lodge Session June 22 Regina Beach July 1 Moosomin/Wolsley July 9 Medicine Hat July 28/29 Queen City Exhibition July 30 MSA Winnipeg Aug 4-6 Lumsden Sept 1 Respectively submitted Noble Al Clarke President Wa Wa Drum Corps.
