NORTH BAY, Ontario (Tuesday July 19, 2011) 3 -2 -1 ...or better yet tres, dos, uno- No matter how you count it down, it's Zumba time; a time for fitness and fun. Join us for the second annual ZUMBA IN THE PARK sponsored by the Capitol Centre and Dance Obsessed, your downtown performing arts facility and the studio where dancing equals fitness, Latin-style. ZUMBA is world famous because of the music and Latin rhythms behind the dance moves. From salsa to cha-cha-cha, the rhythmic moves your feet, hips and the body shimmies from top to bottom. Join us Tuesday, July 19, at the waterfront Kiwanis Bandshell and give Zumba a try. Bring your friends, your kids, your co-workers and shake it all in the name of fun and fitness. Local dance instructor and certified Zumba teacher Mabel Hernandez will lead us through the moves from 6 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and then again from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Come for awhile or stay for two sessions. Test the waters for fun in fitness and enjoy the outdoor Zumba environment with others desiring a new fitness level or sustaining what they've already achieved. Men and women alike have taken up this new fitness lifestyle and Zumba in the Park provides that introduction for regular classes. New sessions begin on the Capitol Centre Stage on Monday, Sept. 12 from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. drop-in rate is only $12 or purchase a 10-week pass for $100 at the Box Office or by calling 705-474-4747. Ditch the Work-out and join the party with Zumba in the Park, July 19 beginning at 6 p.m.
