    The Bangui Windmills are located in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. They were developed as the NorthWind Bangui Bay Project by the NorthWind Development Corporation to practice renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gases. This wind farm project was the first of its kind in the Philippines consisting of offshore wind turbines facing the South China Sea and is considered the largest in Southeast Asia. It provides 40% of the power needs of Ilocos Norte through the local power cooperative and grid.

    Ilocos Norte

    The Bangui Windmills are located in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. The windmills, officially referred to as the NorthWind Bangui Bay Project, were a project by the NorthWind Development Corporation as a practice renewable energy sources and to help reduce the greenhouse gases that cause global warming. The project is the first Wind Farm in the Philippines consisting of wind turbines on-shore facing the South China Sea and considered to be the biggest in Southeast Asia. The project sells electricity to the Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative (INEC) and provides 40% of the power requirements of Ilocos Norte via Transco Laoag.

    Ang Bangui Windmills ay matatagpuan sa Bangui, Ilocos Norte. Ang windmills, ay kilala sa tawag na NorthWind Bangui Bay Project, isang proyekto ng NorthWind Development Corporation upang makakuha ng alternatibong pinagkukunan ng enerhiya at upang mabawasan ang epekto ng Global warming sa bansa. Ang proyekto ay kaunaunahan sa Pilipinas na binubuo ng wind turbines na nakaharap sa Timog Dagat Tsina at kinikilala bilang pinakamalaki sa buong Timog Silangang Asya. Ang proyekto ay nagkakaloob ng 40% ng kinakailangang kuryente sa Ilocos Norte.
