    The Carnegie Community Action Project Meeting will take place on Friday, September 9th at 11:30AM at the Carnegie Community Center to address abuse suffered by shelter residents at the hands of Yukon Shelter workers.     HELP END ABUSE AT THE YUKON SHELTER

    What: Carnegie Community Action Project Meeting When: 11:30AM Friday, September 9th 2011 Where: Carnegie Community Center, 488 Powell St. 3rd floor classroom 2
    Have you ever suffered abuse at the hands of a shelter worker? Have you ever been yelled at, lied to, or made to feel less than human by a member of the shelter staff? Have you ever been belittled or demeaned by a shelter worker? Have you ever been accused of wrong doing in a public area by shelter staff? Has a necessary service ever been withheld from you without cause? Has anything been taken or stolen from you by shelter staff? Has a shelter worker ever threatened you with homelessness? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, please join us at the Carnegie Center at 11:30AM on Friday September 9th and help us end the cycle of abuse at the Yukon Shelter.
