A cap seller traveled from town to town selling caps, sometimes passing through a forest where he would sleep under a tree. One morning he discovered his caps were missing after hearing noises, and saw that monkeys in the trees had taken his caps. The monkeys threw fruit at the cap seller to protect themselves, but the seller had an idea - he threw one of his caps on the ground, and the monkeys copied by throwing down the rest, allowing the seller to retrieve his caps happily.
