What we are learning In Reading-The story this week is called Todds Box. The phonics skill is the short sound of o. The comprehension focus will continue to be the sequence of events in a story. In Writing-We are reviewing handwriting skills by practicing the formation of each letter. This week we will cover lower case letters that start with a line and have a hump or a curve after it, the letters h, r, n, m. When having your child write, please remind him/her to start from the top and use as few strokes as possible for each letter.

In Math-We are continuing our study of addition concepts by practicing ways to make 7, 8, and 9.
