Math
This month in math we will study fractions and
money. Students will be asked to write fractions
that correspond to drawings as well as create
drawings that represent a given fraction. The class
will also practice counting, comparing, and making
change using coins and bills.

This month we will continue to learn and
investigate weather. Students will learn about
layers of the atmosphere and how we measure
weather. Later this month, we will begin a unit on
agriculture and travel to Peru as part of Our Trip
Around the World! Students will also begin to learn
about communities and why laws are important.
