MULTIMEDIA COURSEWORK
Attended New York Film Academys weeklong summer program (2010). Received instruction on camera technique, editing theory, and cinematography and produced a 1 minute short. Took Brown Universitys online 4-week summer course Crafting a Video Essay (2011). Gained experience enhancing a written narrative with multimedia components by creating a short video essay. Attended Camp Multimedia on a scholarship (2009). Introduced to the four Adobe CS3 software programsPremiere Pro, After Affects, Photoshop, and Flashand learned how integrate images, 2D and 3D animation and video together in several projects.

FIELD EXPERIENCE
Served as student director for Channel 15s weekly student run program, Hotline. (2009present) Gained experience with live hosting and interviewing, on location and on set camera work, audio, and pre- and post-production from 6 years of work on the show. Directly involved in the production, hosting, and creation of multi-media for each weekly show. Organize student crew members for pre- and post-production work, and serve as the technical director in the control room for each show. Served as the camera assistant on Cedar River Productions shoot of the UNI fashion show. Extensive experience using Adobe In-Design and Photoshop (CS3) as editor-in-chief of the Tiger Hiline, the student publication at Cedar Falls High (2011, current.)
