e was the first official finance project of the club. It was chosen due to popular request. It should be noted that movies are constantly screened in university for the benefit of the students by various student groups. The tickets are sold a concessionary rate. The movie was shown on the 18th of August at 2.00PM at the New Arts Theater, University of Colombo. Ticket books were distributed among the members. A surprise gift was offered to the member who sold the most number of ticket books. The tickets were priced at 20/= ad each book consisted of 10 tickets. The participation was satisfactory and all the tickets were sold. The finance director noted that the target amount of funds had been successfully raised through this project. The club hopes to screen another movie once the next semester begins due to popular demand.
